How this place works.

• Ask one clear question, or share one clear thought, about something real in your life.
• Photos and videos must be yours, or clearly free to share.
• Up to 6 photos per post, and videos of up to 120 seconds and 250 MB. Files that are too large, too long, or in an unsupported format are refused with the reason shown to you.
• You can keep a post as a draft, plan it for a later date and time, or publish it right away. Planned posts follow these same rules when they go live.
• No personal data of other people: names, addresses, phone numbers, documents.
• No sexual content, harassment, hate, threats, or self-harm encouragement.
• No advertising, spam, or repeated posting of the same question.

• Child sexual abuse and exploitation material is absolutely forbidden. That includes sexual or suggestive content involving anyone under 18, grooming, sexual contact or requests directed at a minor, and links to such material anywhere else.
• Existensia is 16+. Members aged 16–17 are kept in a separate Meet and Town pool and can never be matched with adults.
• Use "Report" on any post or member and choose "Child sexual abuse or exploitation". Reported content is hidden immediately and the account is locked while a human reviews it — no waiting.
• Confirmed cases mean permanent removal of the account, and we cooperate with law enforcement and the relevant child-protection authorities where we are legally required to. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
• You can also write to safety@existensia.app for anything child-safety related.

• My Journey images and their short stories sit on your public profile. Only add images you own and stories you are happy for visitors to read.
• Profile themes, colours and frames are decoration. They never change what other people are allowed to see about you.

• Vote on the decision, not on the person.
• Do not brigade, or ask others to vote a certain way.
• A vote is advice, never a verdict. The author decides.

• Sharing the outcome is optional, and always appreciated.
• Outcomes you publish are visible to whoever could see the original post.

• My network shows people you follow and your friends. Everyone shows the wider network, ranked for quality, freshness and discovery rather than for who shouts loudest.
• Ranking is decided by Existensia and can change. Trying to game it — vote rings, mass reposting, engagement bait — is treated as spam.
• Existensia updates appear at the top of the feed for a short while, then step aside.

• Silver is earned: an account that has been around, stayed active, and kept good standing.
• The badge does not verify identity. Judge every post on its own.

More about badges

• Tokens are earned for taking part: publishing posts, voting on decisions, and inviting people with your personal referral code.
• Each member has one referral code, valid for one year. It can be redeemed once per account, only within your first 30 days on Existensia, and never on your own code or back-and-forth between two members. Both the inviter and the new member are credited.
• A code can be used by up to 5 new members per day and 100 in total.
• Token values are set by Existensia and can change at any time. Tokens have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and grant no ownership or shareholder rights.
• Tokens earned through fake accounts, self-referral, automated activity or spam are removed, and the accounts involved may be suspended.

• Taking part — publishing, voting, inviting members — counts towards milestone bonuses. Every count and every bonus is calculated on our servers; nothing about your level or balance can be set from your device.
• Milestones, their thresholds and their rewards are set by Existensia and can change. Bonuses already paid keep the terms that applied when you earned them.
• You never see who your referred members are individually — only totals. The same applies to how others see you.
• Bonuses obtained through fake accounts, duplicated or throwaway content, or automated activity are reversed, and the accounts involved may be suspended.

• You can spend your own tokens to promote a profile or a post. Promoted items are always labelled Promoted.
• Promotion never overrides privacy, blocking or moderation: it only reaches people who could already have seen the content.
• As a promoter you only ever see aggregate numbers — never who was shown your campaign.
• Tokens spent on a campaign are not refunded, including when a campaign is stopped for breaking these rules.

• Meet is not a dating service. Before entering, you confirm your date of birth and acknowledge a short conduct statement; we ask again every six months.
• Members aged 16–17 only ever meet other 16–17 year olds, and adults only meet adults. Misstating your age to cross that line ends the account.
• Connecting is private: the other person only learns of your interest if it is mutual. "Not for me" is respected and not disclosed.
• Your presence in a place is visible only while you are there. Leaving or signing out removes you from discovery.

• Friends can start a one-to-one chat directly. People you meet in Town can chat once you have connected, and a chat becomes permanent when you become friends — the history is kept.
• Group chats hold up to 12 friends, and you join only by accepting an invitation.
• Everything in the rules applies inside chats. Sharing someone's private messages, photos, or personal details outside the conversation is not allowed.
• "Delete for me" removes a conversation from your side. It does not delete it for the other person. Leaving a chat you started in Town removes its messages.

• You choose who sees each post: everyone, followers, or friends.
• Your profile can be public or private, and you choose separately who can see your shared thoughts history.
• Your diary stays private, always.
• You can delete your posts and diary entries at any time.

• You can report a post or a member from their page, and you can block anyone. Blocking is mutual in effect: neither of you appears to the other in feeds, search, Meet or chats.
• Reports are reviewed by the Existensia team. Do not use them to harass someone.
• Posts that break these rules are removed, and you are told why.
• Repeated breaches add a strike, which blocks the Silver badge.
• Serious or repeated abuse ends the account.

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Usernames use lowercase letters and numbers only.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in details private.
• You are responsible for everything done from your account.
• Impersonating someone else, or creating accounts to evade a block, is not allowed.

You keep ownership of everything you write, photograph, or film. By posting it to Existensia you give us a limited licence to store and display it inside the app, to the audience you selected. Delete a post and that licence ends for it.

Coaching requests are handled by human coaches inside Existensia. A coach offers guidance and perspective — not legal, medical, financial or immigration advice — and what you write in a request is readable only by the coach assigned to you and the Existensia team members who route requests.

Existensia generates recommendations from public data and AI models. They are a thinking aid, not a professional opinion. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, immigration or career counselling. Data about places and careers can be out of date or wrong. Verify anything before you act on it, and take your own decisions.

Existensia is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be withdrawn. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you take based on the app's output. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law. This agreement covers Existensia on the web and in the iOS and Android apps alike.

How we store and handle your data — including your GDPR rights — is set out on the privacy & data page, which forms part of this agreement. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & data. Deletion is permanent.
